Golden State Warriors
First Person - San Francisco, CA
It was truly exciting to be a part of the Golden State Warriors' incredible 2014-2016 seasons by creating the game-opening video and producing graphics packages for the home game experience. The Warriors came to First Person well before the tip-off of the opening night which allowed us to complete a proper ideation process in which we learned a great deal about the organization and their fans. While this may just sound like Bay Area loyalty, the Warriors are a team that brings new meaning to the words "sports fan" and we wanted to speak to them as much as possible. Ideas ranged from a crowd sourced pregame speech made of fan submissions to photo-real 3D animation. However we chose to give the fans a glimpse into the preparation of game time culminating in the excitement of Warriors basketball. The final concept was a combination of two ideas titled "Building a Win" and "Warrior Spirit" which combined to form a slow-building yet high-energy video & content.
